A Tale From The Trenches: Prurient Interests, Book One, by author Luke J. Hayes, Esq. of Detroit, is the latest release from NFB Publishing of Buffalo.
This book is the first story in a new gritty crime drama and legal thriller anthology series from Hayes called Prurient Interests. This tale depicts an addict and recklessly successful trial attorney who is compelled to lose all of his cases by a corrupt city councilman. But after the attorney unearths the formidable skeletons in the councilman’s closet, he questions if the dirt the councilman has on him is truly worth covering.
Hayes is an attorney, admitted in 2022 to practice in the State of Michigan and Federally, in the U.S. Eastern District of Michigan. He is happily married, with two daughters. Beyond spending time with his family, he enjoys exercising, fishing, hunting, boating, and driving his 1946 Studebaker Skyway Champion. Ideally, he delights in doing all of those very same outdoor activities with his family, while keeping out of boring courtrooms. He also loves writing unpublished poetry and most varieties of fiction.
