The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will host a brunch on Saturday, June 8, for people who are caregivers to those living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
The Caregiver Brunch will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Chapter office, located at 6400 Sheridan Drive, Suite 320, in Amherst.
In addition to refreshments, Julie Whitbeck-Lewinski of Care Patrol Buffalo Niagara will discuss the importance of self-care for caregivers. Participants can also learn more about the many free resources offered by the Alzheimer’s Association, including support groups, education classes, virtual programs and care consultations.
