The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will hold a community forum about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. Martin de Porres Church, 555 Northampton St., Buffalo.
“No individual or family should navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease alone,” says Courtney Sipes, director of community engagement for the WNY Chapter. “This forum is an opportunity for City of Buffalo residents affected by the disease to speak with dedicated staff and volunteers and learn more about the resources, programs and services available to them.”
Light refreshments will be served. Interested individuals are invited to bring a friend and share their feedback with representatives from Erie County service providers and the WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Registration is highly encouraged and can be done online at bit.ly/2025ForumBuff or by calling 800-272-3900. The forum is funded in part through a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
