Annual Small Business Summit planned at West Seneca Community Center

Sep 5, 2019 | Events

The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the GEICO Local Office in West Seneca are teaming up to host Senator Patrick M. Gallivan’s annual Small Business Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 22, as part of the Chamber’s six free speaker events in 2019. This event will take place in the large meeting room of the West Seneca Community Center & Library located at 1300 Union Road. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m, followed by the presentation from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and networking from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, and a light breakfast will be offered.

Senator Gallivan will speak about what is currently being done in Albany that will impact small business. Gallivan was first elected to the Senate in 2010, representing all or parts of Erie, Wyoming, Livingston and Monroe counties. He is a small business owner and has pushed to eliminate onerous and outdated regulations on private businesses.

Following Senator Gallivan’s presentation, Frank Swiatek will discuss tested and proven strategies for generating leads that you can implement in your business. Swiatek was a performance consultant for 15 years at Verizon Wireless at a time when the company went from $192 million to $62 billion in sales. He was on the inside and observed, learned, taught and coached the mindset, skills and behaviors which created that type of staggering growth. He will help you avoid the “feast or famine” sales syndrome that is familiar to too many business owners and salespeople.

To reserve your spot at the Small Business Summit, please contact Mitch Martin, community representative for Senator Gallivan, at
