Annual West Seneca Farmers’ Market to kick off season on May 18

May 3, 2023 | Entertainment

In addition to nearly 40 vendors consisting of farmers, food producers, artisans and food trucks, the market will also welcome different nonprofit organizations each week.

The Town of West Seneca and the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will once again operate the popular West Seneca Farmers’ Market, sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union (wnyfcu.com), for the 2023 season! The 16-week market, located on the hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, adjacent to Town Hall, will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday evenings from May 18 through Sept. 7, weather permitting. There will be no market on June 22 due to West Seneca Community Days.

“In addition to nearly 40 vendors consisting of farmers, food producers, artisans and food trucks, the market will also welcome different nonprofit organizations each week,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. “We’ll also have entertainment most weeks, plus picnic tables for the convenience of our guests. It will be a fun, family friendly outing each week.”

A complete list of vendors, participating nonprofit organizations and entertainers will be posted on the West Seneca Farmers’ Market Facebook page and the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce website in the very near future.

The West Seneca Lions Club will once again offer free Thursday night concerts in the park this summer beginning at 7 p.m. A complete schedule of Lions concerts will be released shortly.
