Annunciation to offer new online Pre-K program

Aug 14, 2020 | In the News

The Strong Start Pre-K program at the Church of the Annunciation in Elma will be offered as an online program beginning Sept. 16. The online format will continue until in-person classes can be offered safely and effectively.

Annunciation’s online program will include the following:
• Video lessons
• Weekly materials (picked up biweekly in front of the school)
• Student assessments
• Informal instruction ideas
• Weekly small group Zoom meetings with teachers and peers
• Teacher’s “tips and tricks”
• Access to teachers for help and ideas

“Our program is flexible and will run on the parents’ schedule,” said Program Director Carrie D’Attilio. “We want to provide parents with the tools to implement an at-home program with all of our help and expertise.”

The cost of the program will be $1,000 for the year, which will cover Google Classroom videos and lessons, materials and supplies for each lesson, weekly Zoom meetings and access to teachers. It will also be a great supplement to any in-person class your child may attend.

This program is appropriate for ages three and up and is open to returning and new families. For more information or to register, please contact D’Attilio at
