Sep 26, 2023 | Arts & Culture

The Arts & Craftsmen Guild is a not-for-profit division of the Roycroft Campus.

The Arts and Craftsmen Guild on the Roycroft Campus is pleased to announce their inaugural members’ exhibit of art and craft works in the Jerry and Barbara Castiglia Art Center, located in the Roycroft Campus Print Shop in East Aurora. This exhibit runs from Sept. 27 through Oct. 21, during Castiglia Art Center open hours (Tuesday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.). A special opening reception will be held on Oct. 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Over 30 members of the Guild, from a variety of disciplines, have come together under the guidance of Exhibit Chair and Curator Bradley Widman. “Mr. Widman has led his expertise and years of experience to display a wonderful sampling of fine art, jewelry, wood work, pottery, glass work and more,” states Stacy Smith, chair of the Arts and Craftsmen Guild. “We would like to invite the public to our opening event on Oct. 4 where many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work.”

The Arts & Craftsmen Guild, a not-for-profit division of the Roycroft Campus, seeks to promote and preserve the home of the American Arts & Crafts Movement. Its mission is to inspire a positive collaboration amongst the craftsmen, the community and the Roycroft Campus. The Guild has grown to over 50 members, including more than 30 juried artists from around the U.S. and Canada, as well as non-juried artists, supporters and students.
