Bandits sign Bomberry, Robinson to one-year contracts

The Buffalo Bandits recently announced that the team has signed defenseman Adam Bomberry to a one-year deal, pending league approval.

Bomberry (6’1”, 215 lbs., 2/18/1994) played in 65 career NLL games with the Rochester Knighthawks, New England Black Wolves and Albany FireWolves prior to being acquired by the Bandits on Jan. 19, 2023. The Akwesasne, Ontario native has totaled 44 points (17+27) and 347 loose-ball recoveries in his career. Bomberry was drafted in the second round (16th overall) in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft by Rochester.

Bomberry appeared in nine games with Buffalo in 2023, recorded three points (1+2) and registered 39 loose-ball recoveries in that span.

Additionally, the Bandits also announced that the team has signed forward Brandon Robinson to a one-year contract, pending league approval.

Robinson (6’3”, 200 lbs., 10/13/1995) returns for his second season with the Bandits after posting 21 points (13+8) and 31 loose-ball recoveries in 10 games during the 2022-23 season. He set new career highs in goals (13), assists (8), points (21) and tied his previous career high in games played (10) last season.

The Pickering, Ontario native was selected by New England in the fourth round (33rd overall) of the 2016 NLL Entry Draft and signed with Buffalo as a free agent on Aug. 16, 2022. Entering his fifth NLL season, Robinson has totaled 41 points (22+19) and 100 loose-ball recoveries in 27 career games with Rochester, Halifax and Buffalo.
