Former Buffalo Sabres Patrick Kaleta and Andrew Peters will visit Bases Loaded Sports Collectibles in Cheektowaga for an autograph signing event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Kaleta, from nearby Angola, was a hard-hitting right winger who played for both the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans. His best season with the Sabres came in 2009-10 when he recorded 10 goals and five assists in 55 games.
Peters, known more for dropping the gloves than putting the puck in the net while playing left wing for Buffalo and Rochester, is currently the co-host of The Instigators on WGR 550 and MSG.
The cost is $15 per autograph or one autograph from both players for just $20. Fans can bring their own items to be autographed or purchase an item from Bases Loaded during or prior to the event. Those who cannot make the event on Feb. 5 can drop off items in advance at Bases Loaded, located at 794 French Road, Cheektowaga.
