“I believe in the hands that work, in the brains that think, and the hearts that love.” Elbert Hubbard penned that two lifetimes ago, but you’ll find his words live still at the annual Art & Antique Show June 29-30.
Step inside the walls of Elbert Hubbard’s Roycroft Campus, and find your own spark of inspiration in head, heart, and hand! The Roycroft Campus, a National Historic Landmark in the heart of East Aurora, will feature over 50 artists, antique vendors, and local cultural groups from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. While exploring the beautiful Campus Grounds, you can find new and old wonders, visit with alpacas, listen to live music, and enjoy some tasty treats.
“The Art & Antique Show is a fantastic tradition to kick off summer,” says Alan Nowicki, Roycroft Campus Program Director, “All the activities in East Aurora that weekend are a great way to gather together and celebrate our community.”
The festival isn’t the only place to fan the flames of inspiration on the Campus. The Copper Shop Gallery features the work of over 100 local, national, and international artists, as well as a variety of unique gifts and home décor. The Furniture shop offers a range of antiques, additional artist work, and artist studios. The Print Shop features the Castiglia Art Center, Press Room, and several additional artist studios.
This event is free and open to the public. For further information on this and other events on the Roycroft Campus, please call (716) 655-0261, Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or visit www.theroycroftcampus.com.
