Beatles Rooftop Concert Returns to Larkinville on August 8

May 28, 2019 | Entertainment

The Beatles rooftop night has become one of the signature events of the Larkinville neighborhood.

Beatlemania returns to Larkinville on Aug. 8 with the fourth annual Beatles Rooftop Tribute concert. Geno McManus and The Black Rock Beatles will be back on the rooftop of the Hydraulic Hearth restaurant, 716 Swan St., playing the music of The Beatles down to Larkin Square and the Hydraulic Hearth Beer Garden.

Seneca Street will be closed, allowing guests to view the rooftop concert from the street, Larkin Square or the beer garden. The concert recalls the Beatles’ legendary last performance in London in 1969 featured in the documentary film Let it Be.

The Beatles rooftop night has become one of the signature events of the Larkinville neighborhood, growing in size each of the last three years. Past attendees know that it can get crowded, which is why this year the event’s organizers will be selling $7 pre-sale tickets. Parking will be free in the Larkin Square parking ramp and in the lots along Exchange Street. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., with a rain date of Aug. 15. For more information, visit www.hydraulichearth.com or www.larkinsquare.com.
