The public is invited to attend the first Unyts Blood Drive & Health Fair to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, in the West Seneca Community Center & Library, 1300 Union Road. The event is sponsored by the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the West Seneca Sun.
Blood donations will be accepted in the Recreation Department’s gym within the Community Center. To schedule a whole blood or double red cells donation in advance, please visit https://www.unytsblooddonor.org/index.cfm?group=op&step=2&opid=15468 or contact the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce at 674-4900. Donors who display their bandage at the Spot Coffee location in the Community Center will receive a free large coffee during the event! All donors will also receive a free book courtesy of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to the blood drive, several Chamber members representing health-related businesses and organizations will host informational tables in the Community Center’s main corridor. Participating vendors will include Bene-Care, Buffalo Dental Plan, EBC, Eden Heights of West Seneca, Elderwood, Rebounding Fitness by Maria Pascucci, Serving Our Seniors Inc., Union Medical Pharmacy, Western New York Chiropractic, Western New York Dental Group and the West Seneca Sun.
