The Boston Lions Club will host their annual Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at 8359 Boston State Road, Boston, (next to Three Girls Café). Proceeds will benefit Lions Club activities and the organization’s loan closet.
Pre-sale dinner tickets are just $10 and can be purchased at Three Girls Café and Herb’s Barber Shop in Boston, or by contacting Al at 648-5908 or Rene at 553-7069. The chicken dinner by Dave Winters will also include potato salad, macaroni salad, roll/butter and dessert. Dinners will also be available on the day of the event for $12.
The Boston Lions Club supports Boston residents through a loan closet (medical equipment, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.), annual student scholarships and helping those in need of assistance in the community. New members are always welcome.
