The Boston Lions Club will host its annual Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue takeout dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) on Sunday, June 19, at Three Girls Café, 8373 Boston State Road, Boston. This will be a drive-through event and proceeds will benefit Lions Club activities and the organization’s medical loan closet.
Pre-sale dinner tickets are just $13 each through June 9 at Three Girls Café, by emailing bo*************@***il.com or by calling (716) 941-1955. After June 9, the ticket price will increase to $15.
Dinner will include a half chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, roll/butter and a cookie.
The Boston Lions Club supports Boston residents through a loan closet (medical equipment, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.), annual student scholarships and helping those in need of assistance in the community. New members are always welcome.
