Buffalo company expands Living Tours into Ellicottville

Aug 14, 2019 | Events

The Ellicottville Living Tour is free and will take place on Sept. 14.

Now in its eighth year of putting on upscale home tours in the area, PDM Marketing & Media, Inc. has announced that there will be an expansion of the concept in September with the launch of the Ellicottville Living Tour.

“We have had such success with our 12 previous tours, helping property owners rent or sell their living spaces, that we decided Ellicottville was ripe for this program,” states Paul D. Maurer, owner of PDM Marketing & Media, Inc.

The iconic leisure community in Cattaraugus County will be the focus on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the first-ever Ellicottville Living Tour. The headquarters will be at The Tamarack Club at Holiday Valley. Tour goers are encouraged to start there, where they can pick up a free shuttle that will whisk them to each living space on the tour. As of press time, there are half a dozen upscale locations to tour.

For those who wish to start anywhere (or take their own transportation), a free pamphlet and map can be downloaded after Aug. 18 on www.EllicottvilleLIVINGTour.com. At each site, the property owner, real estate person or developer will tour people through their spotlighted location.

As in Buffalo, the Ellicottville Living Tour is free.

“It’s a great way to show off our historic and legendary village with its many outstanding recreational and entertainment options,” boasts Brian McFadden, Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce executive director. “In fact, Sept. 12-15 is Rock & Roll weekend, so we would recommend people take the Ellicottville Living Tour during the day on Saturday as an interlude to the nighttime music offerings that will be happening throughout our village!”

After a day of touring the properties – some for sale, others for rent – everyone is invited back to Holiday Valley’s Tamarack Club and John Harvard’s Brew House for a poolside after-party, starting at 4 p.m.

The spotlighted locations will be revealed in the near future.

Sponsors of the Ellicottville Living Tour are Nationwide Insurance/Getzoni Agency, Peters & Moriarty Real Estate Law, Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals, CrossTree Creative and Creative Storage Solutions.
