Buffalo Distilling Company will release Buffalo’s first Irish Whiskey, a resplendent spirit born in County Cork, Ireland, and finished in Port casks.
The event will be held at Buffalo Distilling Company, 860 Seneca St., in the Larkinville District of Buffalo, on Saturday, March 4, starting at 1 p.m. Live music by Raised Irish will be featured from 3 to 6 p.m., followed by Big J Blues from 7 to 10 p.m. The Cheesy Chick Food Truck will be on site from 2 to 7 p.m. Sales and tastings of the Irish Whiskey will continue all day, along with signature cocktails, beer and wine. Admission is free.
This release honors the memory of Bob Gallivan, a lifelong Buffalo firefighter and Irish family man. Bob was an avid live music fan and early supporter of Buffalo Distilling Company. “May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live.”
Buffalo Distilling Company is a New York Farm distillery and produces whiskey and other products from local grain. Their flagship brand, One Foot Cock Bottled In Bond Bourbon Whiskey, is mashed, fermented, distilled and aged in oak barrels entirely on site at their Buffalo distillery.
