The Buffalo History Museum is delighted to announce its fifth annual Giants of Buffalo series honoring history making individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in the fields of law and sports.
M&T Third Friday, March 17, is the first of two scheduled discussions — Giants of Buffalo: Women of Law — and will feature Judge Barbara Howe, Judge Anne T. Mikoll and Judge Penny Wolfgang.
M&T Third Friday, May 19, Giants of Buffalo: Sports is set to feature celebrated former Buffalo Bills coach Marv Levy.
The program will engage the audience and the guest speakers in an informal talk show format about their personal stories as experienced by career choices, industry practices of the day, impact on our region and inevitable changes. The series, led by related moderators, takes place annually in the spring months.
The annual discussion series offers a pre-program reception of wine, soft drinks and light snacks. A cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m., with seating for the program at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 for museum members, $25 general and $50 for a VIP package.
The Buffalo History Museum is located at One Museum Court at Elmwood Avenue and Nottingham Terrace.
Tickets will go on sale at the museum and online on Feb. 27 for the March 17 event and April 20 for the May 19 event. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Please visit www.buffalohistory.org for more information.
