Buffalo History Museum to present Women’s History in Service and in Wartime

In celebration of Women’s History Month, two Wednesday programs at the Buffalo History Museum will feature guest speakers Suzanne Dietz, historian, and Brenda Moore, Ph.D. Both scholars will discuss women of Western New York and their immeasurable significance and important contributions to the war effort during WWII.  

On Wednesday, March 2, Dietz will discuss women’s role and the impact of women during WWII. And on Wednesday, March 30, Moore, an associate professor of sociology at the University at Buffalo, will discuss the WASPs (Women Air Service Pilots) who served and flew during WWII.
