The Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association (BSRA), located at 405 Ohio St. in Buffalo along the Buffalo River, will host the annual Head of the Buffalo Regatta on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Head of the Buffalo will feature teams of high school, collegiate, open and masters rowers competing on an exciting 4,000-meter curved course on the Buffalo River that passes by historic grain silos that have stood for decades. Racing will kick off at 9 a.m. sharp and end at approximately 2 p.m. The starting line is located at the foot of Smith Street or Red Jacket Park, with the finish line at the end of the Tewksbury Lodge/Riverfest Park dock.
