There’s plenty to enjoy at the Buffalo Zoo on 716 Day. The Zoo is hosting its 716 Day celebration throughout Thursday, July 16, highlighted by discounted general admission that allows guests to receive $7.16 off standard ticket prices.
Visitors can also enjoy keeper talks around the Zoo, a 716 Day children’s activity and a $7.16 pretzel and beer combo deal at Wild Burger.
The Buffalo Zoo is open standard hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m. for 716 Day. Discounted general admission tickets for July 16 can be purchased online in advance at buffalozoo.org, or in-person at the front entrance gate.
The fun continues and the creativity ramps up after hours, as the Zoo hosts its Art Gone Wild event from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on July 16. This family-friendly fundraiser is a great way to help support local artists, aid conservation, and enjoy artistic fun for all. Attendees have the chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces made by Zoo animals and Western New York artists through an art auction and raffle. Additionally, visitors can check out local art vendors, enjoy hands-on activities and watch live art demonstrations.
Art Gone Wild is one of the rare evenings when visitors can experience the Buffalo Zoo in a whole new light after the daytime crowds have gone home. Stroll the grounds as the sun sets, visit your favorite animal exhibits, listen to live music and soak up the Zoo’s unique after-hours atmosphere.
