Visitors are invited to come curious and leave inspired in this unique location where art, ideas and industry collide.

Several businesses in Buffalo’s historic Niagara Frontier Food Terminal at 1500 Clinton St. will host an Open Studios + Art Crawl event from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.

More than 40 Buffalo-based artists and makers will participate in the event, which will also include food, live music, three bars and tea-tastings. The event is free and open to the public, with plenty of free parking available.

Visitors are invited to come curious and leave inspired in this unique location where art, ideas and industry collide. Explore the vibrant work spaces of local artists, makers and food purveyors — each space a portal into an imaginative mind. You’ll meet the makers, tour the studios, sample local flavor and explore the magic behind the work!

Among the many things to do:
• Wine tasting and music by the John Bacon Jazz Quartet at Chateau Buffalo Winery.
• Eat dinner, enjoy a beverage and shop local at The Nickel Plate.
• Try honey wine at Wildflower Meadery.
• Enjoy free tastings of the new fall flavors at Snowy Owl Arts + Tea House.
• Visit art studios and engage in interactive art exhibits in three buildings across the NFFT complex, including a solo exhibit by Kyle Butler and a group show by Artlab.
• Grab a “passport” at your first location and check off spots you visit on the map for a chance to win a gift basket bursting with local goods.
