The fourth annual Christmas Tree & Holiday Art Auction, sponsored by the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce and the West Seneca Art Society, will take place from Dec. 1-13 in the Martha Burchfield Richter Atrium within the West Seneca Community Center & Library, 1300 Union Road.
This year’s auction will feature 12 themed and beautifully decorated trees and 16 pieces of artwork donated by members of the Art Society. The trees and artwork can be viewed daily during West Seneca Community Center & Library business hours beginning Dec. 1.
The trees, decorated by local businesses and organizations, will include the following:
• Burchfield Nature & Art Center: Nature’s Magical Christmas tree
• GEICO Local Office West Seneca: Woodland Creatures tree
• Grandma Roxann’s and Snoopy’s Little Free Libraries: Reading is a Ticket to Adventure tree
• Kate’s Cookie Creations: Snowmen tree
• Lauren Harvey & the Buffalo Bandettes: Buffalo Bandits tree
• NRT Sales: Buffalo Sabres tree
• Spectrum Health & Human Services: Candyland tree
• West Seneca Chamber of Commerce: Buffalo Bisons tree
• West Seneca Chamber of Commerce: Gnome tree
• West Seneca Lions: Snow What Fun tree
• West Seneca PBA: Reindeer Games tree
• WNY Federal Credit Union: Buffalo Bills tree
West Seneca service organizations participating in this unique holiday fundraising event, and the Community Holiday Dinner taking place Dec. 9 at Kloc’s Grove, include the Art Society, Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Rotary Club and Woman’s Club. The Holiday Dinner will also include a delicious Dessert Auction! Proceeds from this year’s festivities will benefit Spectrum Health & Human Services, Make-A-Wish WNY and BurchFest 2024.
There are three ways to bid on the trees and artwork beginning Dec. 1:
1. Send a private message to the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
2. Call the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce at 674-4900.
3. Fill out a bid form on the table outside the Chamber of Commerce office in the West Seneca Community Center & Library at 1300 Union Road.
Bids will be accepted until noon Wednesday, Dec. 13. Bid updates for all trees and artwork will be shown daily on the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. The minimum opening bid is $100 per tree and $25 per piece of artwork. Many of the trees come with special surprises such as gift cards, event tickets, gifts and more!
The winning bidders can remove their trees and artwork from the Community Center beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 by contacting the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce at 674-4900. Removal is the responsibility of the winner.
