Author Joe DiNardo has released his first book, “A Letter to My Wife,” a 55-page dedication that follows his journey with his late wife, Marcia, from cancer diagnosis through death. A funny, sad and hopeful look at the beauty of love found and lost, DiNardo uses anecdotes, practical wisdom and a unique approach to storytelling to create shared experiences with his readers — many of whom have gone through or know someone who has gone through a battle with cancer.
Dog Ears Bookstore & Café, 688 Abbott Road, Buffalo, will host DiNardo for a book-signing event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
DiNardo is the CEO, director and founder of Counsel Financial, a highly specialized commercial lender offering loans and credit lines to law firms. In these roles he oversees all business transactions and provides long-term strategy for the company.
DiNardo has lectured for the New York State and American Bar Associations as well as the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and has been featured several times in Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
