Writing workshops with Emily Saeli will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday evenings, July 18 through Aug. 15, at Dog Ears Bookstore & Café, 688 Abbott Road, Buffalo. The workshop is designed to get incoming high school juniors and seniors familiar with the techniques of writing expected of them in college. This course will cover structure, voice, argument and persuasion, and polishing — all while workshopping an essay meant for college applications!
Saeli is a recent graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a BA in writing and rhetoric. She has been teaching the foundations of writing to college students for three years and is excited to share her experience and insight.
The cost is just $5 per session. For more information, please call Dog Ears Bookstore at 823-2665 or visit their website at http://dogearsbookstore.org/. You can also follow Dog Ears Bookstore on Facebook for frequent updates.
