The annual Shop South Buffalo event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10. Dog Ears Bookstore & Cafe, 688 Abbott Road, will be partnering with Friends of Night People and will be collecting new winter clothes, mittens, hats and boots for those in need. Their goal is to fill three barrels up to the brim!
The Dog Ears window theme this year will be “Die Hard for a Cause,” and they will be having a vote to finally settle the debate: Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? $1 minimum per vote, with proceeds benefitting Dog Ears and Friends of Night People.
Santa will be upstairs at Dog Ears from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 10, and it’s a great opportunity for family photos in their comfortable Literary Arts Center.
And of course, the executive director of Dog Ears has a few surprises planned for the window display!
