Come watch some of the most beautiful horses in the world! The Arabian Horse Association of New York will be holding their 48th annual Eastern Classic Arabian Horse Show at the Erie County Fairgrounds Showplex.
The show will be held on Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9, and will host approximately 160 of the best Arabian and part Arabian horses from stables and individual owners across the country at the Showplex within the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg. The Eastern Classic Arabian Horse Show is free and open to the public. Parking is also free for spectators. Classes will start around 8 a.m. and run into the evening.
Arabian horses are one of the most easily recognizable horse breeds in the world. It is also one of the oldest breeds, dating back 4,500 years. Throughout history, Arabian horses have spread around the world by both war and trade, used to improve other breeds by adding speed, refinement, endurance and strong bone. They are one of the top 10 most popular horse breeds in the world and their bloodlines are found in almost every modern horse breed.
