The Elmwood Village Winter Market at Buffalo State, an indoor version of the popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19. The market takes place in Buckham Hall on the campus of SUNY Buffalo State, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. The 20-week winter market will run through April 30.
In addition to hosting nearly 20 quality vendors and food trucks, Porcelain Train will provide musical entertainment from approximately 10:30 a.m. to noon on March 19. PUSH Buffalo will host the community group informational table.
Buckham Hall is located on Rockwell Road near Grant Street. Free parking is available on campus during market hours, and Lot R-13 is recommended for convenience.
The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium at Buffalo State College is also open during the Winter Market! Located in Buckham Hall, the planetarium will open at 11 a.m., with shows at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 under 18 and over 65, and free for Buffalo State students with ID. One group or organization from Buffalo State also hosts a weekly informational table, and the market is equipped to accept EBT customers.
