A brand new exhibit, “Buffalo Alive,” kicks off a busy schedule of events throughout March and April at Enjoy the Journey Art Gallery, 1168 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca.

When you think of Buffalo, what comes to mind? Is it the architecture, beaches, sports, windmills, theater, waterways, public art, Larkinville, Allentown, Silo City or Canalside? “Buffalo Alive” asks the artists to answer this question. An opening reception will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 11, and this unique exhibit will be on display from March 9 through April 2.

“Buffalo Alive” is open to all artists and mediums. Artists must create artwork that best represents the Buffalo area to them. Buffalo has so much to offer, so create your statement and think outside of the box! A prospectus available at http://etjgallery.com/calls-for-work.

A “Meet the Authors” event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2.
