Fetch! Gourmet Dog Treats LLC, a woman- and veteran-owned business specializing in healthy and safe gourmet dog treats, has announced the public launch of the company’s equity crowdfunding WeFunder campaign. According to Jacqueline Lovern, Fetch! co-founder and president, the company initially launched the campaign privately to family and friends on July 30 and has raised over $18,000 to date.
“The national exposure Fetch! has earned since we began the business five years ago has definitely raised awareness of our company and earned us new customers,” Lovern said. “That is what inspired us to set up this campaign so we could build on that success by raising the necessary funding to expand new and existing sales territories, develop new product lines, and increase staff. We are grateful to our family and friends for getting us off to such a great start and look forward to extending the funding opportunity to the people of WNY and beyond, who have loyally supported Fetch! from the start.”
Lovern and company co-founder/vice president John Griveas have launched their crowdfunding campaign as industry trends in the all-natural dog treat category reflect unprecedented sales during the pandemic and forecast continued growth well into the future. Griveas notes the intersection of the trends and their fundraising efforts.
“The industry trends prove what we have known, that dog owners treasure their pets as family and want safe and healthy treats to feed them,” Griveas stated. “It is our company mission to deliver those treats to dog owners across America and make a positive difference in their pet’s lives. The monies raised through this campaign will allow us to do just that.”
