Five seniors from Mount Mercy Academy were recently honored as Honorable Mention Western New York Scholar Athletes for the spring season. These five students were selected from all of the senior male and female athletes from both public and private schools throughout Western New York. To be nominated, the athlete must have achieved a 90-plus average for the previous six semesters and been a starter or significant player in their spring sport
Honored from the softball team was Trinity Kehoe of Derby. Lacrosse players Brenna Berhalter, Madelyn Hart and Abigail Mailloux of Buffalo and Olivia Fuller of West Seneca were also recognized.
