“From Song to Rhapsody – the Genius of George Gershwin” will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 12, at The Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma, just five miles east of Transit Road.
The event will feature Krista Seddon on piano, accompanied by Bud Fadale on bass and Matt Harris on saxophone. Guests can come for dinner and music, or just come for the musical presentation.
Patty Markowski Burdette Catering will provide a sit-down, family style dinner of tossed green salad, olive salad, roast turkey breast with stuffing, stuffed beef roll-ups, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with mushrooms, rolls and butter, apple cobbler, fruit cup, coffee, tea and milk. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in Annunciation’s Selbert Hall. Guests are invited to bring their own adult beverage.
Tickets for dinner and the musical presentation are $25 each and pre-sale only. The musical presentation will be in church from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets for the musical performance only are $10 pre-sale or $12 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in the parish office or online at www.annunciation.cc; click on the “Give Online” button with WeShare and use a credit card or checking account and print your ticket. Please note that online tickets have an additional handling fee.
