The Mount Mercy Academy Music Department presented its annual Christmas Concert last week. The show was opened by the Mount Mercy Academy Women’s Choir. The school’s dance classes each danced to a song and freshman Mariana Acosta (Buffalo) played a piano solo. Duets were song by sophomore twin sisters Tylie and Zoe Czerniak (Colden), who sang “Sisters” and sophomores Amelia Cook (Hamburg) and Erin Hudson (Buffalo) sang “I Can’t Lose You.” The show concluded with the school’s show choir, The Sparks, performing.
The music groups are directed by Mount Mercy Alumnae Grace Greenan (2016) and the dance classes are choreographed by Justine Kish Posiadlo (2005).
