Mount Mercy Academy recently announced its first quarter Honor Roll. Eighty students achieved First Honors (95 and above), 45 attained Second Honors (90-94.99) and 26 students earned Merit Roll status (85-89.99).
Twenty-five members of the senior class received First Honors. Achieving this distinction were Megan Amicone, Margaret Bell, Samantha Benes, Brenna Berhalter, Kennedy Cerrone, Bridget Dougherty, Lucy Duggan, Alexis Garmong, Elizabeth Godsoe, Gabrielle Juliano, Trinity Kehoe, Catherine Klodzinski, Paige Lapadat, Olivia Macholeth, Abigail Mailloux, Isabella Maloney, Gemma McIlroy , Ava Moran, Alison Mysiak, Corsignana Nardello, Sophia Nasca, Joelle Poleto, Jillian Schneck, Madison Serafini and Fiona Tournour.
Rosalie Bandura, Addison Barth, Jayla Goodman, Maura Higgins, Madisyn Hoffman, Emma Labby, Amelia Lalley, Isabella Shea, Lacey Sheehan, Vayana Stoyanova, Rylee Strefeler, Tia Thourling, Caroline Tucker and Avery Walker were the 14 members of the junior class who attained First Honors this quarter.
Sixteen sophomores, Gabrielle Bauerlein, Meghan Bell, Lauren Bigouette, Amelia Cook, Tylie Czerniak, Zoe Czerniak, Alexis Dintino, Anna Enright, Allyson Frascella, Mia Freedenberg, Ellie Hart, Mara Held, Erin Hudson , Novella Keem, Kendall Markiewicz and Isabelle Reaska all attained averages over 95 percent for the first quarter.
Twenty-five freshman students, Mariana Acosta, Samantha Arcara, Ava Barning, Bridget Bell, Riley Coughlin, Molly Denning, Molly Dorrell, Jayden Dunbar, Elena Ellicott, Taylor Ferris, Ryan Geary, Emma Godsoe, Olivia Gorczyca, Brenna Grigsby, Brynn Leonard, Yixuan Li, Nola Marrero, Brianna McCaslin, Brigid McQueary, Sarah Peron, Claire Przybyszewski, Nataliah Quintana, Claire Rogan, Lauren Szpylman and Anna Thomasson, all met the criteria for First Honors.
Forty-five students achieved Second Honors, including seniors Jenna Brown, Mallory Chase, Emma Connors, Claire Denning , Olivia Fuller, Madelyn Hart, Corynn Held, Katelyn Isch, Kayla Pietrkiewicz, Amanda Solomon and Natalie Vicaretti; juniors Quinn Callahan, Emma Caughel, Elyse Ellicott, Madeline Hagner, Na Li and Brogan Maloney; sophomores Gianna Anderson, Taylor Jahn, Madison Leonard, Maeve Lickfeld, Mara Lipinski, Marren Phillips and Isabella Scarcello; and freshmen Naja Aboussir, Aaliyah Burroughs, McKenna Cashion, Maura Dougherty, Ezra Estus, Reese Gannon, Maya Goodman, Kathryn Lapadat, Sophia Longo, Grace Mallaber, Katelyn McCarthy, Mara McCrea, Tamara Olomou Fuentes, Lena Palmeri, Nora Paul, Mary Catherine Pugsley, Dolores Pytlewski, Kyla Roberts, Amina Salim, Carly Wickett and Kaelen Zarzecki.
An additional 26 students were named to the Merit Roll. The honorees include seniors Kathleen Beale, Emma Colello, Caitlin Davison, Isabella Fedele, Molly Oar, Evelyn Radecki, Zamzam Salim and Marlee Ventura; juniors Meghan Balen, Lauren Conti, Charli Debose, Andra’Nique Hudson, Eve Janak, Trinity Mead, Margaret Melligan and Nurta Mganga; sophomores Jai’da Hancock, Serenity Raynor, Nora Vattes and Cassidy Westbrook; and freshmen Leah Burgess, Ruby Griffin, Lexi Lesniowski, Bella Lippert, McKenna Mead and Riley Melligan.
