Mount Mercy to host second virtual McAuley Gala

Mar 30, 2021 | Events

As everyone knows, Covid 19 has impacted Western New York and its residents in innumerable ways. Mount Mercy Academy has been affected in several ways, including the inability to host its annual McAuley Gala. Although the Gala will not be held with guests in physical attendance, Mount Mercy is hosting its second virtual Gala this year.

The Gala will be held online as a weekend event from April 22-24. The website will be active for the silent auction from 6 p.m. on Thursday until midnight on Saturday.  The website is accessible through the Mount Mercy Academy website and will list and show the prizes available as well as inspiring student videos. The link to the gala page is https://www.mtmercy.org/gala.

An addition to this year’s Gala is a $2,500 cash raffle. Tickets are $30 and are available online on Mount Mercy’s website. The winner will be drawn during the live auction and the winner does not need to be present to win.

This year there will also be a live auction, limited to 100 tickets, held on April 24 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the live auction are $80 per person and $150 per couple. The ticket will include a drop-off dinner from Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant. Dinner delivery is limited to a 15-mile radius and will include salad, roll, ravioli, meatballs and cannoli, along with a choice of red or white wine.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Check out the Mount Mercy Academy website for information or contact Erin Renowden at er*******@mt*****.org or 825-8796, x311.

There is no cost to set up an account to begin bidding. Any questions, problems or concerns may be directed to er*******@mt*****.org or 825-8796, x311.
