News and notes from Mount Mercy Academy

At Mount Mercy Academy’s end-of-the-year Honors Assembly, the officers for Student Government and the senior, junior and sophomore classes were announced.

Rising Senior Isabelle Reaska (West Seneca) will serve as the Student Government president for the 2024-25 school year. Rising junior Nola Marrero (Buffalo) will be the Student Government vice president.

President of the Class of 2025 will be Amelia Cook (Hamburg), and Kendall Markiewicz (Buffalo) will serve as class vice president.

Leading the Class of 2026 will be Claire Rogan (Hamburg), and the vice president will be Olivia Gorczyca (Lake View).

Marisa Swinarski (Lake View) will lead the Class of 2027, and Veronica Friol (West Seneca) will be the Class of 2027 vice president.

Leading the McAuley Chapter of the National Honor Society for the 2024-25 school year will be Isabelle Reaska (West Seneca), Gabrielle Bauerlein (West Seneca), Allyson Fracella (Boston) and Ellie Hart (Buffalo). Reaska will be the president, Bauerlein will serve as the vice president, Frascella is the secretary and Hart will be the treasurer.

In other news, the Mount Mercy Academy Music Department has a release on Spotify! The three-song EP is titled Mount Mercy Mix Tape Volume One. The three songs are originals written by Mount Mercy students.
