Noir at the Bar comes to Buffalo for a night of crime fiction and community

It’s a night for authors and readers to connect over great stories, signature cocktails and all things mysterious.

The wildly popular literary event Noir at the Bar comes to Buffalo this spring at Charlie’s Boatyard, located at 1111 Fuhrmann Blvd. This event brings together crime fiction fans and authors for an unforgettable evening of live readings, cocktails and conversation.

Hosted by Jim Creahan and Tom McDonnell, this installment of Noir at the Bar will feature celebrated crime authors reading short excerpts from their work.

Featured authors include Gary Earl Ross, Sandra Block, Stephen G. Eoannou, A.M. Loweecey, John Schreier, Lissa Marie Redmond, Jeff Schober, Bill Metzger and special guest, poet Kate McGreevy.

Noir at the Bar events have been popping up all over the country and in cities around the world. It’s a night for authors and readers to connect over great stories, signature cocktails and all things mysterious.

Noir at the Bar events are free to attend and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for optimal seating. Doors open at 6 p.m. on May 5. Charlie’s Boatyard has ample free parking.

One of the evening’s featured writers, Edgar Award-winning Gary Earl Ross, will be reading from his critically acclaimed work, while Stephen G. Eoannou’s newest release, After Pearl, has just hit shelves and is already generating buzz.
