Northtown Automotive to host SPCA Adoption Event

Apr 2, 2023 | Lifestyles

Families are welcome to the fun-filled event and will have the opportunity to meet and play with pets, interact with Sabres alum, and get to hang around with Sabretooth.

Northtown Automotive Companies, the Official Automotive Dealer of the Buffalo Sabres, is excited to host a SPCA Adoption Event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 at KeyBank Center. The Northtown Automotive Subaru Share the Love Campaign is pleased to present a check of $34,118.29 to the SPCA during the event.

Northtown Automotive Companies partnered up with the SPCA Serving Erie County in helping to find forever homes. The collaboration between SPCA and Northtown has been one of much meaning and appreciation. The SPCA has established itself as a major voice in the struggle against animal abuse and neglect thanks to its persistent efforts to save, care for, and rehome animals in need. Northtown Auto is excited to host this event and thank both the Sabres and the SPCA for their loyal and uplifting partnership.

“Northtown Automotive has a longstanding partnership with the SPCA and a commitment to supporting those organizations that support Western New Yorkers. The SPCA of Erie County helps thousands of animals in need every year,” said Harold Erbacher, Chief Operating Officer and Co-owner of Northtown Automotive Companies. “We pride ourselves on assisting others by creating a sense of family, generosity and sharing — both at the dealerships where we work and in the community we serve.”

Families are welcome to the fun-filled event and will have the opportunity to meet and play with pets, interact with Sabres alum, and get to hang around with Sabretooth. All pets at this event will be readily available to adopt and be taken home that same day. If you are to adopt a pet during the event, you will receive two free tickets to the April 13 Fan Appreciation game as a show of thanks from the SPCA, Northtown and the Buffalo Sabres.

“We so greatly value the SPCA’s long-standing relationship with Northtown and the Buffalo Sabres,” says SPCA President/CEO Cait Daly. “The fact that two such reputable, important organizations recognize the role the SPCA Serving Erie County plays in the community is something that continually motivates us to be our best and do our best for the people and the animals that need us the most. We’re honored to be part of this effort.”
