The Olear Realty Group, Inc., a residential real estate sales support company in Buffalo, has announced that Laura Nightingale, SRES, has been promoted to the role of director of operations. Kerry Jones Waring has also been hired as marketing director.
Nightingale has been with the company since 2003. During that time she has served as a licensed real estate salesperson and office coordinator. In her new role, she will oversee the group’s operations, including sales, marketing and administration, while continuing her duties as a licensed real estate salesperson. She has taken advanced coursework in architectural design, property disclosure and fair housing law, in addition to earning a senior real estate specialist (SRES) designation. Her background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a secondary English teaching certification from SUNY Buffalo State. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in English at SUNY Buffalo State.
Waring joined Olear Realty Group, Inc., in December 2015. In her role as marketing director, she will coordinate the team’s efforts to increase outreach and engagement with current and potential clients throughout Western New York. Previously, she served in marketing roles with the University at Buffalo’s Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, Roswell Park Alliance Foundation and Kaleida Health. She has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Pratt Institute.
