The Rochester Americans announced their promotional schedule for the 2025-26 season, presented exclusively by Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, featuring the return of several popular theme nights, Pregame Happy Hours, giveaways and more. As always, the Amerks will continue to offer various ticket specials, promotional packages and special group rates as it pertains to theme nights throughout the season.
As a way to celebrate the storied past of one of the American Hockey League’s cornerstone franchises, the Amerks will wear a series of specialty jerseys specific to each decade in the team’s 70-year history during its upcoming anniversary season, beginning on opening night when Rochester hosts the Toronto Marlies on Friday, Oct. 10 at The Blue Cross Arena.
The Amerks will wear era-specific jerseys, which will be auctioned off on DASH over the course of the season, on the following nights:
Friday, Oct. 10 vs. Toronto – 1950s
Friday, Nov. 28 vs. Syracuse – 1960s
Saturday, Dec. 27 vs. Cleveland – 1970s
Friday, Jan. 30 vs. Hershey – 1980s
Friday, Feb. 20 vs. Laval – 1990s
Friday, April 17 vs. Cleveland – 2000s
Additionally, the ever-popular Bills Day jerseys make their highly anticipated return on Sunday, March 22 against Hartford when the gridiron meets the ice for the fifth straight season.
Back by popular demand and as part of the team’s ongoing effort to make hockey more inclusive for more fans, the Amerks will again host several sensory-friendly and accessibility games in partnership with EveryTREE on select Wednesday nights, featuring lower music levels, no goal horn, no flashing lights, and dimmer lighting throughout the arena bowl.
