The Rural Outreach Center’s Health Care Services program is taking some time off this summer to make adjustments to the program and give volunteers some much-needed time off. The program, which offers basic medical care to individuals without health insurance, is located at 730 Olean Road in East Aurora.
“The Health Care Services program is currently on ‘summer break’ to afford us time to re-evaluate and tweak our program and give our volunteers a break,” said Ruthie Hunt, director of the program. “We hope to offer our health care services again this fall and will notify the public at that time. In the meantime, we’re looking for RNs, PAs and Nurse Practitioners to join our team! It is very rewarding.”
