One group or organization from Buffalo State will also host a weekly informational table, and the market will be equipped to accept EBT transactions as well.

Participating vendors will include Alpine Made, Angel Cakes By Evin, Barrel & Brine, Belleview Farm, Biscotti for Everybotti, Blue Table Chocolates, Carla’s Crumby Creations, Darling Bee, Fetch! New this year, students from Buffalo State’s Department of Health, Nutrition & Dietetics will participate in the market and will offer health and nutritional information and yoga classes during the season. A schedule for yoga and nutrition events will be released at a later date and will likely begin in January or February.

Buckham Hall is located on Rockwell Road near Grant Street. Free parking is available on campus during market hours, and Lot R-13 is recommended for convenience.

The Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium in Buckham Hall on the Buffalo State campus will also be open on Saturdays. Please visit www.fergusonplanetarium.net for more information.

Field & Fork Networkʼs “Double Up Food Bucks” program will return for the indoor marketʼs second season, providing low-income individuals who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits with a $1 for $1 match, up to $20, to purchase fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables.

The Winter Market will be closed for the holidays on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31. On Saturday, May 6, 2017, the Elmwood Village Farmers Market will return to its usual location at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffaloʼs historic Elmwood Village. Both markets are a program of the Elmwood Village Association.
