South Buffalo Alive is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the South Buffalo area. They are involved in the preservation and beautification of neighborhoods, promoting special events and recognizing difference makers. The organization has completed many projects throughout South Buffalo and continues to maintain beautiful parks and public gardens. SBA has helped lead the restoration of the McKinley and Mclellan circles; has painted, restored and landscaped Olmsted’s Shelter House in Cazenovia Park; and created Tim Russert’s Childrens’ Garden on South Park Avenue.
The organization also sponsors several community events each year, including the Parade of Circles in June, Garden Tour in July and Christmas in the Park in December.
