Six athletes now scheduled to appear at Sports Card & Memorabilia Expo

Western New York’s next Sports Card & Memorabilia Expo, the area’s largest biannual sports card and memorabilia show featuring over 100 tables of merchandise, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Grapevine Banquet Hall, 333 Dick Road, Depew. The event will now feature appearances by six former professional athletes!

Former Buffalo Braves forward John Shumate and MLB great Denny McLain are the latest to be added to the lineup. Shumate will sign autographs from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at a cost of $15 per item, while McLain will host a memorabilia table at the event.

Former Buffalo Sabres great Rob Ray will be on hand to sign autographs at the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per autograph on any item. Additional guests include former Buffalo Bills Pete Metzelaars, Keith McKeller and Ray Bentley. Metzelaars and McKeller will sign autographs from noon until 2 p.m. at a cost of $15 per item, while Bentley will sign for free with a purchase at his table throughout the show.

This show will feature local and out-of-state dealers showcasing vintage as well as newer sports cards and memorabilia, including items from Memorial Auditorium, publications, programs, pennants, autographs, photos, videos, souvenirs and much more. J.M. Bobbing Head Restorations, specializing in paper mache dolls, will also take part in the event; bring in any paper mache dolls needing repair for evaluation.

Parking is free at the Grapevine Banquet Hall and admission for adults and children 16 and older is just $5. Admission for children ages 8 to 15 is $2, while kids 7 and under are admitted free.
