New cat owners, current frustrated cat owners, future cat owners, and all cat lovers, take note! The SPCA Serving Erie County will present its next PET (Pet Education Talk), “The Furry Alien in Your Home: Understanding Your Cat,” in March.
The presentation will be offered at 6 p.m. Monday, March 23, in the Education Center of the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca shelter. The cost is $10 per person, but those who register before March 13 receive a 50% discount using the code catsgonewild.
Presenter and SPCA AdvoCAT Cary Munschauer has a long list of credentials, including Certified Cat Behavior Consultant, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (affiliate level), retention counselor for the Humane Society of the United States, and more. She will be educating guests on integrating a cat into the family, positive reinforcement techniques and practical cat enrichment tips, and will host a Q&A session after the presentation.
