SPCA waiving adoption fees for cats seven and older for adults 50 and older

Oct 5, 2023 | In the News

Celebrate your golden years with Golden Ears! The SPCA Serving Erie County is now waiving adoption fees for cats seven and older for adults 50 and older through its Golden Ears program.

“Our older cats have wonderful qualities for companionship,” said Mindy Ussrey, SPCA director of behavior and adoptions. “We want to find the best homes for these cats as much as we want to find homes for our kittens and younger cats. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone 50 and older to find their perfect cat!”

Those interested in taking advantage of this promotion can visit the SPCA Serving Erie County at 300 Harlem Road, West Seneca, and meet the adoptable felines in person. Potential adopters must bring their photo ID to take advantage of the Golden Ears waived fee.
