If you are searching for fun activities for the summer, Mount Mercy has the activities for you. This summer Mount Mercy will be hosting a soccer camp and Camp Mercy. Both activities are designed for girls interested in learning skills and having fun.
For the first time, Mount Mercy is offering a soccer camp for girls entering grades three through nine. The camp will be led by Mount Mercy’s soccer coach Maddie Higgins and members of the school’s soccer team. The camp will be held July 12-15. The first session for girls entering grades three, four or five will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the soccer field in Cazenovia Park. A second session for girls entering grades six through nine will be held from 12 to 2:30 p.m., also at the soccer field in Cazenovia Park.
Sessions are limited, guaranteeing individual, personalized instruction. Individual improvement drills will be completed each day. Drills, station work, team concept and scrimmages will be incorporated into camp time. The cost of the soccer camp is $80 and also includes a T-shirt.
