Tonawanda Dance Arts will host a grand opening party at their new location, 2311 Military Road, Tonawanda, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7.
The party will celebrate the beautifully renovated building that Tonawanda Dance Arts is fortunate enough to call their new home. The 5,000-square-foot facility is equipped with four large dance rooms, each with professionally sprung flooring and a state-of-the-art sound system. There is a large waiting room and work area for parents, as well as two-way mirrored viewing windows and closed circuit TVs for classroom observation.
After serving Tonawanda and the surrounding communities for over 21 years, the owner and director of Tonawanda Dance Arts, Melanie Boniszewski, along with co-director, Kelsey Boniszewski, are hoping to reach and inspire more children than ever before.
Tonawanda Dance Arts is proud to be a More Than Just Great Dancing-affiliated studio. MTJGD studios are diverse in their specialties but united in their belief in the power of dance to change lives. Tonawanda Dance Arts dancers go beyond technique to develop important life skills, learning to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people who share their gifts and talents with the community.
Melanie, Kelsey and the staff of Tonawanda Dance Arts welcome the community to enjoy this free event and celebrate the growth and longevity of a dance program that is dedicated to each child’s development of positive self-esteem and social interaction.
The party will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:15 p.m., tours of the new studio space, an ice cream truck, face painting, a prize wheel and more!
