Village of Hamburg’s history is subject of Explore Buffalo events

Learn the history of the Village of Hamburg while enjoying the historical, beautifully renovated Saints Peter and Paul RC Church, 66 Main St., Hamburg, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30. This free lecture will be given by Jack Edson, director of the Hamburg Library and former member of the Hamburg Preservation Commission. Edson, author of several books on the history of Hamburg, is also a member of the Hamburg Historical Society.

To continue your Hamburg experience, return to the Village on Saturday, Sept. 23 for the annual Explore Buffalo Autumn Tour of Homes. Co-sponsored with Imagine:Hamburg, this tour will feature 10 homes plus an exceptional business adaptive re-use example in the Village. Several activities and special events will also be offered.
