Vocális Chamber Choir celebrates the cheer and joy of the holidays with its annual presentation of A Vocális Christmas.
Concerts are at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at S.S. Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Karpeles Manuscript Museum, 220 North St. at Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo.
“We are thrilled to once again kick off the holiday season with the tradition of A Vocalis Christmas,” says Vocális Director James Burritt. “Every year the choir looks forward to celebrating our favorite time of year with traditional and contemporary Christmas carols presented in beautiful spaces. We hope you’ll join us for these family friendly concerts.”
This year the choir presents audience favorites like Silent Night, Hark the Herald Angel Sings and Jingle Bells, along with beautifully crafted carols by Walton, Howells, Vaughan Williams, Gjeilo and Chilcott.
