The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce will host a “Walk & Talk” event at noon Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Burchfield Park, located at Union Road and Race Street. The event is an opportunity for Chamber members and nonmembers to network while enjoying a brisk walk through one of the town’s most beautiful and historic parks.
“There is suddenly a lot of commercial and residential development happening throughout West Seneca, which I find incredibly exciting,” said Joe Kirchmyer, executive director of the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce. Kirchmyer will share his knowledge of ongoing projects, discuss happenings within the recently established Charles Burchfield Gardenville District, and answer any questions on the minds of participants.
The Walk & Talk event is free and open to the public. Participants are reminded to wear appropriate footwear for the unpaved park trails. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Please follow the Chamber’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/WestSenecaChamberofCommerce/ for updates.
The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce is an independent, nonprofit business organization with nearly 300 members. Membership is open to businesses, nonprofit organizations, retirees and individuals. For more information, please call 674-4900 or visit www.westseneca.org.
